Need Reliable Internet for Online Classes

I have taken a number of online classes. I did much of high school online, as I was homeschooled, and more recently I have finished a college degree online. The college classes were perhaps the more interesting of the two experiences.
First, I have to say that using the internet to take classes is perhaps not the most efficient way to learn. I used hughesnet to take my classes, which I have found to be far more reliable than other forms of internet because even the smallest outages can have a huge effect on the learning experience.
Otherwise, it was simply difficult to learn online. Lectures may seem long and boring, but in my opinion, people learn a lot more than they think during these lectures. Some of my classes tried to replace the lecture with online video, which did help, but in the end it is simply not the same thing. Other online classes simply gave up the lecture altogether, and learning was entirely based on the textbook. I don’t think I will retain a single thing that I learned in those classes. Anyway, I would not recommend that people take online classes unless you have a really good satellite internet provider.

The New England Patriots showing the other football teams how to run a website

Are you ready for some football? I hope you are because we have the opportunity to have the host of Patriots Today, Brian Lowe, honor us with his presence. Patriots Today is not your typical broadcast devoted to a football team.

It is developed for the Patriots by the Patriots which means that you get to see a closeup view of what it really means to be a part of the team. Being one of the first to embrace technology there is no question why the Patriots have plenty of fans all over the world.

In our interview we take you behind the scenes of the website. This includes how the Patriots uses technology to stay connected with their fans. From charity, honoring the troops, or even providing multiple languages and online games in the fan zone; the Patriots keep raising the bar for all of the other NFL teams on and off the field.

An insider insight into the creation and purchasing of MMORPG accounts

MMORPG also known as Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game is a gigantic industry with gamers all over the world participating in a story line that is never ending. If you’ve seen the movie the Never Ending Story then you can get a basic idea of how an MMORPG works.

After logging onto a computer you enter a world where only your imagination and the developer of the software can limit your experience. During that time you become more powerful but as it was explained by Ben, a CS Manager over at Virtual Barrack, that it takes a lot of time to develop a good character.

Virtual Barrack provides the ability to buy and sell world of warcraft accounts. These accounts can range in price from hundreds to a couple thousand dollar depending upon if the wow accounts are for sale.

In fact Virtual Barrack provided you the audience with a coupon code on your next purchase of $100. That’s right 10% off of your purchase when you use the coupon code Hotshow at checkout. This is an exclusive code just for you to enjoy.

Ben took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions to give you a better insight on how to purchase or even sell an account using their website.

LEGO makes a clever little advertisement

Here at the hot domain show we are always looking for the fun and interesting. One story that received multiple hits was our story on 8-bit trip where we spoke to the creator of an amazing music video made out of legos. It seems that the LEGO corporation wanted to get into the act with this cute little video. Enjoy!

Youtego, and what it took for me to finally understand it!

When I first came across Youtego, I knew it was special. It was so special that I had no idea whatsoever what I was supposed to do with it. Thanks to the helpful guidance of Artyom Shamtsyan, founder of the website, I had a great opportunity to better understand the everything.

The best way of explaining the website is a combination of discovering yourself and at the same time social networking through those connections. By tagging yourself a whole new world opens up. These tags are called “tegos”. These “tegos” combine a description with a picture from either an icon library, upload from a disk, Flickr, Picasa, or even google.

We started at the beginning where I got an overview of my profile including the use of “tegosets” to start adding “tegos” to the various categories. In the end I was able to make this very cool video with music attached that can be embedded into any website. Read the rest of this entry

Bidazzled makes Auctions Profitable and yet Charitable

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

Bidazzled

At first glance I just couldn’t understand this website. What on earth is Bidazzled? I had absolutely no idea! Even looking at the website the first page seemed very different. There are a bunch of products that you can find in any old retail store but the cost of the items seem as low as can be. Maybe an example could help. One winner got a Nintendo DS lite for a whopping $0.28. No I did not mis-type, not $28, $0.28. It just all seems to be to good to be true.

During further investigation the website started to make a bit of sense. The first step appears is to acquire bids. These bids can be used at auction where the price goes up a few cents with every bid placed. Anyone that wants to wait until the last minute, no dice, a few seconds get added to the clock counting down to the end of the auction as if they auctioneer is saying GOING ONCE…., GOING TWICE…. sold to the lady in the pink p.j.’s. TutorVista if only it was around for my SAT’s

School, how much I hated every single solitary moment of it. If there was a math problem for instance I would have a few resources but it would all end up with me hopefully finding the answer after spending way too much time trying to do so. I just wish that I could have a tutor that I would have access to 24/7. That means that if I’m up working at 3am then I want my very own red phone to help me understand how to answer the question. Simple enough.

There was one time where I did find a helpful website where there was available resources in the form of an online chat but you never knew who you were going to get and what their background was. Read the rest of this entry

Make this years holidays extra special with Element Bars

The holidays are just around the corner or if you have taken a look at the current market trend the holidays are in full force even though I have not had a chance to enjoy some well deserved Turkey. With everyone already concerned about what they are going to give and how they are going to be unique, do I have the solution for you.

I had the opportunity to speak to Jonathan Miller, CEO of Element Bars and get a better idea of what makes their website worthy of being declared one of Hot Domain Show’s hot sites of 2009.

What seemed at first like a gimmick that appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank is more magical and entertaining then I could ever imagine. Read the rest of this entry
